Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling a student at Munta Royal College or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms of service.
Enrollment Agreement
Upon enrollment, parents/guardians agree to:
- Pay school fees and other charges as outlined in the fee structure
- Ensure student compliance with school rules and regulations
- Provide accurate and complete information during application
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and respond to school communications
- Support the school's educational mission and values
Academic Integrity
Students are expected to maintain high standards of academic honesty. Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty will result in disciplinary action.
Attendance Requirements
Students must maintain at least 80% attendance to be eligible for end-of-term examinations. Extended absences require written justification and may affect academic progress.
Limitation of Liability
While we take all reasonable precautions for student safety, Munta Royal College is not liable for:
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Injuries occurring outside supervised school activities
- Academic outcomes or examination results
Termination of Services
The school reserves the right to terminate enrollment for:
- Persistent violation of school rules
- Non-payment of fees after repeated reminders
- Behavior that endangers other students or staff

Student Code of Conduct

Dress Code
Students must wear the official school uniform at all times during school hours:
- Clean and properly fitting uniform as specified by the school
- Closed shoes (black or brown)
- Neat hair (short for boys, tied for girls)
- Minimal jewelry (small studs for girls only)
Prohibited Items and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on school premises:
- Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or any illegal substances
- Weapons or items that could be used to harm others
- Unauthorized electronic devices during class time
- Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind
- Destruction of school property
- Leaving school grounds without permission
Disciplinary Measures
Violations of the code of conduct may result in:
- Warning: Verbal or written warning for minor offenses
- Community Service: Assigned work benefiting the school
- Suspension: Temporary removal from school (3-14 days)
- Expulsion: Permanent removal for serious violations
Appeals Process
Students and parents may appeal disciplinary decisions by submitting a written appeal to the Headteacher within 7 days of the decision.
Fee Refund Policy
General Policy
School fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced, except under the following circumstances:
Eligible Refunds
- Withdrawal Before Term Starts: 90% refund if notice is given at least 7 days before term opening
- Medical Reasons: Pro-rated refund for extended medical absence (minimum 4 weeks) with doctor's documentation
- School Closure: Full refund if school is unable to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances
- Administrative Error: Full refund if fees were paid in error or in excess
Non-Refundable Fees
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Application fees
- Registration fees
- Examination fees paid to UNEB
- Uniform and textbook costs
- Trip and activity fees
Refund Process
- Submit written refund request to the Bursar with supporting documentation
- Allow 14-21 business days for processing
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method or via bank transfer
Payment Plans
For families experiencing financial hardship, the school offers:
- Installment payment plans (must be arranged before term begins)
- Need-based bursaries (application required)
- Work-study opportunities for families
